Why Allah mentions Mecca in the Qur'an as much as seven times?
and why the city is also a mecca with a different name?
What's going to Mecca?
Allah mentions the city of Mecca in the Quran 7 times with different names such as :

1. Q.S. : Al-Fath [48]: 24). Makkah in Mecca.

وهو الذي كف ايديهم عنكم وايديكم عنهم ببطن مكة من بعد ان اظفركم عليهم وكان الله بما تعملون بصيرا

It is He Who has restrained their hands from you and your hands from them in the valley of Makkah, through the Peace Treaty of Hudeybiyah, after that He had given you victory over them, and Allah was watching all your actions.

2. Q.S.:Ali Imran [3]: 96). kota Makkah called Bakkah

وهذا كتاب أنزلناه مبارك مصدق الذي بين يديه ولتنذر أم القرى ومن حولها والذين يؤمنون بالآخرة يؤمنون به وهم على صلاتهم يحافظون

Undoubtedly the first House for the worship of Allah ever built for mankind is the one at Bakka (Makkah), a blessed site and a guidance for all the worlds.

3.Q.S :Al-An‘am [6]: 92). Makkah dengan nama Ummul qura

وهذا كتاب أنزلناه مبارك مصدق الذي بين يديه ولتنذر أم القرى ومن حولها والذين يؤمنون بالآخرة يؤمنون به وهم على صلاتهم يحافظون

This is the blessed Book, like the one given to Musa (Moses), which We have revealed, confirming what came before it, that you, O Muhammad, may warn the people living in the Mother City (Makkah) and those who live around her. Those who believe in the hereafter, will believe in this (Book) and will be steadfast in taking care of their Salah (prescribed prayers).

4. Q.S. Al-Balad [90]: 1-2).makkah called al-Balad

لا أقسم بهذا البلد..dan وأنت حل بهذا البلد

I swear by this city (of Makkah where even to harm anyone is prohibited, where to assassinate) you (O Muhammad) have been made lawful in this city

5.Q.S :  An Naml (27) : 91 makkah called al baldah

إنما أمرت أن أعبد رب هذه البلدة الذي حرمها وله كل شيء وأمرت أن أكون من المسلمين

O Muhammad, say to them: "I have been commanded to worship the Rabb of this city (Makkah), the One Who has made it sacred and Who is the Owner of all things; and I am commanded to be of those who are Muslims

6. Q.S: Al-Baqarah [2]: 126).Mecca called Al-Balad Al-Amini

وإذ قال إبراهيم رب اجعل هذا بلدا آمنا وارزق أهله من الثمرات من آمن منهم بالله واليوم الآخر قال ومن كفر فأمتعه قليلا ثم أضطره إلى عذاب النار وبئس المصير

Ibrahim said: "My Rabb make this (Makkah) a secure town and provide its people with plenty of food from fruits, those of them who believe in Allah and the Last Day." He answered, "As for those who do not, I shall also provide for them in this life, though in the Hereafter I shall drag them to the torture of Hellfire and it is an evil destination indeed!"

7. Q.S : (Al-Tin [95]: -3). Makkah called  Al-Balad - Al-Amin

وهذا البلد الأمين

By the fig and by the olive,
